This series of Impulse Voltage Generator Test Systems is primarily used for conducting impulse voltage tests—such as full lightning impulse voltage, chopped lightning impulse voltage, and switching impulse voltage waves—on power equipment and other test objects to verify insulation performance. An impulse voltage generator is a power supply device that simulates impulse voltages like lightning and switching overvoltages. It is mainly used in tests for impulse withstand voltage, dielectric breakdown, and discharge. The impulse test system mainly consists of: the generator body, chopping device, voltage divider, four-component console (available in microcomputer-based and standard types), and digital waveform recording system.
Scope of application: Standard lightning impulse, chopped lightning impulse, switching impulse, and other custom non-standard impulse voltage tests for transformers, reactors, instrument transformers, other high-voltage electrical appliances, high-voltage thyristor valves (SVC/HVDC), power cables, various high-voltage insulators, bushings, and other test objects. A single system can generate multiple test waveforms (both standard and non-standard, including user-specified waveforms). Applicable fields: Quality inspection, certification, metrology, supervision agencies, power equipment manufacturers, railway communication, aerospace and aircraft, universities, meteorological departments, and other sectors for lightning protection and lightning testing.
